GameLender which was our number 1 ranked video game rental service is no longer accepting new members and unfortunately will most likely be shutting down in the near future.

Feature Set:
GameLender is the clear leader in console game rentals, offering games for more console types than any other video game rental service. As of this writing, the X Box 360 and PlayStation 3 consoles aren't available yet, but the GameLender website is prepared to rent games for these new consoles as soon as these are released. The only video games that GameLender doesn't rent are PC games (which don't require a console).
GameLender doesn't charge late fees or set due dates and you never have to pay for shipping.
Even though GameLender doesn't offer a free trial, you may cancel the service at any time without a hassle.
Video Game Selection:
GameLender has a larger video game selection than any other video game rental service we reviewed. They offer over 7,000 games for every game console commonly in use—from the first Nintendo to the latest X Box games. And—if you visit their website often enough, you'll notice that the game tally continually goes up.
If you want a specific video game, chances are GameLender either has it or will have it soon. If you can't find a specific game, you can submit a request and GameLender will do their best to add it to their rental collection.
Search Capabilities:
GameLender allows you to search for your favorite video game by game title, game console, and genre. You may also search new releases or view a list of video games that are soon to be released. However, you can't sort by game rating, and you can't sort just by genre or console type—you have to use a keyword in addition to these other options for your search to work.
Video Game Arrival Time:
After you sign up for GameLender's services and choose your favorite games, your rentals will arrive within one or two days. GameLender's delivery is lightening-fast as compared to many other services—we had no complaints.

GameLender offers three different unlimited rental plans:
- Bronze Package - $19.99 monthly for two games at a time
- Silver Package - $24.99 monthly for three games at a time
- Gold Package - $34.99 monthly for five games at a time
