iLetYou is a new online rental service that allows members to rent video games and movies to each other. Through iLetYou, you build your personal video store online using your personal DVD and game collection, then others in the iLetYou community can rent from your store. You simply mail them the products using iLetYou’s mailers or your own.

The price of rentals varies depending on how much the owner of the store chooses to set the prices. Our only concern for services like this is the potential for theft; however, iLetYou implements a member rating system much like eBay and Amazon, to help reduce the risk of unscrupulous business practices.

We found that iLetYou has a fairly large selection of games and movies, but since it is still in its infancy, they do not have a large selection of participating stores, and most of those that are available don’t have user scores yet.
