With RentZero you can rent, buy and trade video games on six major gaming consoles. With more than 5000 games, an easy-to-use search function and six payment options you’ll always find something that strikes your fancy.
Although RentZero offers a comprehensive list of titles, they do not offer games for handheld consoles like Nintendo DS, PSP or Gameboy Advance.
Feature Set:
RentZero membership includes free two-way shipping, free membership, no late fees and no due dates. In addition to renting games you can trade with other members or purchase a used rental.
One of the best features of RentZero is when you are browsing for games, the website clearly lists if the game is currently available, has a short wait or is coming soon.
Although most games include a summary they do not have reviews.

RentZero has more than 5000 games available for rent on six major gaming consoles including the newest platforms like Wii, PS3 and Xbox 360. However, do their small size RentZero does not rent games for handheld consoles.
Search Capabilities:
You can search for games based on platform, genre or through the search box. They include 13 genres including adventure, children’s, shooter and more. Additionally, you can search for new releases or most popular.
Video Game Arrival Time:
RentZero is located in Texas. Rentals usually take one to five business days to arrive depending how far away you live from Houston. Additionally, if you live in a rural area it may take up to seven days for your games to arrive.
Available Plans:
RentZero offers six membership options. Three are traditional monthly plans and three are annual options.
The monthly plans are:
- $13.95 for one game
- $19.95 for two games
- $27.95 for three games
The annual plans include:
- $119.40 for one game
- $191.40 for two games
- $263.40 for three games
Summary:
Although RentZero offers a comprehensive selection, and provides the option to rent, buy or trade, their one distribution center and lack of handheld options is disappointing. However, RentZero’s several payment plans are great for those looking for options.
